Carve a chicken egg is possible!
They are much stronger than you think.
Empty the egg, rinse it and let it dry.
Trace the pattern with a pencil.
An opportunity to use the cordless Dremel I won.
For stability I rely on a micro beads cushion.
The right hand firmly seated, the egg is moved by the left hand.
For large holes, drill and expand by turning the tool into the holes.
Small holes are the size of my drill.
Soak for an hour in diluted bleach to melt down the membrane covering the inside of the egg
(careful the egg will become inevitably more fragile).
A light source at the base of the egg reveals the design.
Unfortunately the pic doesn’t show the crystal pointillism of the eggshell.
